Feed Importer — Privacy policy

Feed Importer ("the app") is a Shopify app that loads products from a supplier feed (XML, YML or CSV) into the merchant's Shopify store and keeps prices and stock up to date. This policy explains what the app stores and why.

What we store

• Store details: your shop's myshopify domain and the access token Shopify issues when you install the app, so the app can create and update products for you.
• Feeds: the feed link or the file you upload, the fields you choose, your import settings (price markup, update schedule) and a copy of the latest feed file.
• Import records: for each product in the feed, its Shopify product ID and the result of the last import, so the next run updates instead of duplicating.

What we do not store

The app does not access, collect or store any information about your customers or orders. It does not use cookies or tracking.

How the data is used

Only to import and update products in your store. We do not sell or share the data with third parties. Payments are handled by Shopify's billing.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, its access to your store is revoked immediately. Shopify then sends a shop/redact request 48 hours later, and we delete your store record together with its feeds, feed files and import records. Products already created in your store stay in your store.
